Sharing a John 14:9 type experience that blossomed from a real big
moment.
John 14:9 "Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?"
My reaction to all of this is an emphatic: GOD IS REAL!!! GOD IS REALLY,REALLY, REAL, and He is interacting in a REAL, REAL, way in my life. It feels so right to respond like Peter:
My reaction to all of this is an emphatic: GOD IS REAL!!! GOD IS REALLY,REALLY, REAL, and He is interacting in a REAL, REAL, way in my life. It feels so right to respond like Peter:
Luke 5:8-9 "But when Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Jesus' feet, saying, "Go away from me Lord, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!" For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken.."
You might say: all this time, and you don't know that God is real? Yep, know it, but now know it further down deep. Recently, one morning early, the following just came to me:
📌 Lord, take more of myself for you, and give me more of yourself for me.
This stimulated the thought that this might be another ACP that's being added to my list to pray after receiving communion. For newcomers ACP stands for: After Communion Pleas. Will recap on that in a bit, so now it's to keep moving right along. The next day or so after listening to Fr. Cassian Folsom, something clicked. He mentioned how St. John Cassian (my BFF#2, as SJC, St. John of the Cross is BFF#1) chose this verse from Scripture "O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me", to be repeated over and over to help in keeping the God's presence in the context of continual prayer. At one phrase prayer from the scripture is used to focus your mind in prayer. In hearing this, it seemed that what was given me, was something to be repeated often and not just at communion time. The more this was repeated in my mind, the sweeter it tasted to my spirit.

Psalm 34:8 "Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him"
Couldn't wait to share this with Mae, because it sounded like this was something from The Lord. It did resonate with her, as her response was this: "I like that". At least several times a day, this phrase was repeated. An email came from Fr. Peter to pray for him, as he was going on a 9 day silent retreat. Praying and making little sacrifices for him, it is in hopes that all the various contributions from everyone will bring forth so many graces for him, that good fruits will weigh him down upon his departure. After several days, it came to mind to adapt the phrase for Fr. Peter:
📌O God, take more of Fr. Peter for yourself, and give him more of yourself in return.
Being stirred up, more remixing resulted with the following variations surfacing:
📌 God, O God, O God, take more of me for yourself, and give me more of yourself in return.
📌 Dear God, take more of me for yourself, and in return please give me more of you for myself.
📌 Lord God, take more of me for yourself, and give me more of yourself in return.
Well, a confirmation par excellence would come four days later, evidencing God was indeed at work in my life. The "Daily e-Spiration"
email from Steubenville was the source of the confirmation. The Dominican doctor, St. Catherine of Siena, got it first and perfectly led by the Holy Spirit says:

To play "catchup" for those "not in the know", here is what ACP's are all about: ACP's serves the purpose of getting me to capitalize on the precious moments of grace given to us after receiving Jesus in Eucharist. It's the time to intimately commune and interact with the bridegroom of our soul. Before being touched by The Lord, it was my time to mindlessly look around and give wandering thoughts a field day. Things are so much different now, thank you Jesus. Hope everyone is beyond the "looking around stage" after receiving the Holy Eucharist and truly have an open heart to receive The Lord majestically in spirit and truth.
The first four "after Communion pleas" on the list below, as well as numbers 19, 20, and 21, came from God more like direct implants. The others seemed to have been inspirations by the Holy Spirit with my cooperation. Number 12 was formulated after a conversation with my PIC#3. Numbers 19, 20, 21 were added in 2014, and the last one was added in January, 2015. All the others were given to me periodically during in the past ten years, with 2005 probably being the start year.

Matthew 6:25-34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat [or drink], or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they? Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span?*. Why are you anxious about clothes? Learn from the way the wild flowers grow. They do not work or spin. But I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was clothed like one of them. If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith? So do not worry and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear?’ All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom [of God] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil"

Psalm 42:9 "Psalms 42:9 By day may the LORD send his mercy, and by night may his righteousness be with me! I will pray to the God of my life"
"Canst thou answer this, believer? Canst thou find any reason why thou art so often mourning instead of rejoicing? Why yield to gloomy anticipations? Who told thee that the night would never end in day? Who told thee that the sea of circumstances would ebb out till there should be nothing left but long leagues of the mud of horrible poverty? Who told thee that the winter of thy discontent would proceed from frost to frost, from snow, and ice, and hail, to deeper snow, and yet more heavy tempest of despair? Knowest thou not that day follows night, that flood comes after ebb, that spring and summer succeed winter? Hope thou then! Hope thou ever! For God fails thee not. Dost thou not know that thy God loves thee in the midst of all this? Mountains, when in darkness hidden, are as real as in day, and God's love is as true to thee now as it was in thy brightest moments. No father chastens always: thy Lord hates the rod as much as thou dost; he only cares to use it for that reason which should make thee willing to receive it, namely, that it works thy lasting good. Thou shalt yet climb Jacob's ladder with the angels, and behold him who sits at the top of it--thy covenant God. Thou shalt yet, amidst the splendours of eternity, forget the trials of time, or only remember them to bless the God who led thee through them, and wrought thy lasting good by them. Come, sing in the midst of tribulation. Rejoice even while passing through the furnace. Make the wilderness to blossom like the rose! Cause the desert to ring with thine exulting joys, for these light afflictions will soon be over, and then "forever with the Lord," thy bliss shall never wane.
"Faint not nor fear, his arms are near, He changeth not, and thou art dear; Only believe and thou shalt see, That Christ is all in all to thee."

"The Chaplet of the Precious Blood, also known as the Precious Blood Rosary, is a meditation on the generous love of Jesus, who shed his blood for us. This devotion consists of seven mysteries in which we meditate on the seven principal sheddings of the Most precious Blood of Jesus. The chaplet itself consists of 33 beads (six sets of five beads each and three on the drop), a rosary center and a Precious Blood medal.
The Chaplet was composed in 1809 by Francesco Albertini and officially approved in the same year. Albertini, who founded the ArchConfraternity of the Precious Blood, was the mentor and spiritual director of Saint Gaspar del Bufalo, founder of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.
Saint Gaspar encouraged the Missionaries to pray this chaplet with the people every morning. It is an excellent way of heightening our awareness of God's presence in difficult and painful situations. It can help us connect our own suffering, the suffering of those we love, and the suffering of our enemies, with the suffering of Christ. Many people who like to pray the rosary every day pray the Precious Blood Rosary on Fridays, the day when we traditionally meditate on the Passion".
