Prayer from " The Word Among Us"
“Lord, help me remember that receiving you in the Eucharist has the power to transform my heart and lift me out of my sin. Help me to absorb your nature so that I can become clean inside and out.”
ACP's serves the purpose of getting me to capitalize on the precious moments of grace given to us after receiving Jesus in Eucharist. It's the time to intimately commune and interact with the bridegroom of our soul. Before being touched by The Lord, it was my time to mindlessly look around and give wandering thoughts a field day. Things are so much different now, thank you Jesus. Hope everyone is beyond the "looking around stage" after receiving the Holy Eucharist and truly have an open heart to receive The Lord majestically in spirit and truth.
The first four "after Communion pleas" on the list below, as well as numbers 19, 20, and 21, came from God more like direct implants. The others seemed to have been inspirations by the Holy Spirit with my cooperation. Number 12 was formulated after a conversation with my PIC#3. Numbers 19, 20, 21 were added in 2014, and the last one was added in January, 2015. All the others were given to me periodically during in the past ten years, with 2005 probably being the start year.

✏️5. Lord, praying at this time for all people, from Adam and Eve on down to this present generation. For all the priests on my list,

For more vocations, for the poor souls in purgatory, especially those at the bottom, for deceased family relatives, friends, neighbors, and for the people I have encountered in this life. For souls closest to the top, needing one last prayer to assist them in getting into heaven, for those dying at this moment, earlier today, and for those who will die today. For recently deceased souls, especially those who have made my acquaintance, and those in my home town.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 "First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
✏️6. That I may radically live the gospel.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2 "Now I am reminding you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you indeed received and in which you also stand. Through it you are also being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you, unless you believed in vain"
✏️7. That it may be no longer I that live, but Christ who liveth in me.
Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me"
✏️8. God, I am sorry, beg pardon, and ask forgiveness for all my sins. I offer my resolve, and ask for graces and strength to become a better person.
1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"
Acts 26:18 "to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me"

Ephesians 6:18 "With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit. To that end, be watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones"
✏️10. Lord God, that I might be pleasing in your sight.
1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally, brothers, we earnestly ask and exhort you in the Lord Jesus that, as you received from us how you should conduct yourselves to please God—and as you are conducting yourselves—you do so even more.
✏️11. That my heart might be supple, pliable, and flexible, so that I can hear the word of God and keep it.

✏️12. To have the mind and heart of Christ
1 Corinthians 2:16 "for, "Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ"
✏️13. To accept all that happens today
Matthew 6:25-34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat [or drink], or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they? Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span?*. Why are you anxious about clothes? Learn from the way the wild flowers grow. They do not work or spin. But I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was clothed like one of them. If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith? So do not worry and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear?’ All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom [of God] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil"
✏️14. That the Precious Blood of Christ wash me from spot, stain, and wrinkle by the power of the Holy Spirit (recently the part about the Holy Spirit was added).
Ephesians 5:27 "and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless"
✏️15. That the water from the side of Christ, cleanse me from all impurities by the power of the Holy Spirit.
John 19:34 "Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water"
✏️16. That I might respond to and utilize every God given grace all the days of my life. (Ah, sweet 16)
2 Corinthians 6:1 "And we helping do exhort you, that you receive not the grace of God in vain"
✏️17. That the Blessed Immaculata herself might be the fertilizing soil for my soul, so that it may bear good fruit.
Matthew 13:8 "Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop--a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown"
✏️18. That I might be demagnetized to all that is not of God.
Ephesians 6:13 "Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect"
✏️19. That I might grow day by day to be able to heed God's command, and follow His mandate: Be Holy as I an Holy, Be perfect, as I am perfect.
1 Peter 1:16 "for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."
Matthew 5:48 "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect"
✏️20. For the gift of the grace for final perseverance. That I might die a holy death with the sacraments, and receive the apostolic blessing.
James 1:12 "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him&
